Are you a climber?

Wouldn’t it be great to wake up and have the rock wall waiting for you just over the road?

Take the Via Ferrata Fusetti on the Sass de Stria.  For climbing enthusiasts, the Via Ferrata Fusetti on the Sass de Stria is an unmissable experience. This “iron path”, or “klettersteig” in German, named in honour of Second Lieutenant Mario Fusetti, offers well-equipped stretches leading to the summit, where there is a panoramic view of some of the Dolomites’ most iconic peaks.

Or you can discover the historic route and the “via ferrata” on the Sass de Stria: The Sass de Stria is a mountain steeped in history, with trenches and fortifications dating back to World War One still visible. In addition to the historic route leading to the summit, a via ferrata offers an exciting climbing experience. Appropriate equipment and, preferably, an expert guide, are advisable.

Via Ferrata Lagazuoi: Starting out from the Lagazuoi Refuge, this via ferrata is one of the most scenic routes in the Dolomites. It offers a mixture of easy and medium sections, with incredible views of the surrounding peaks.

Via Ferrata Monte Averau: If you are looking for a slightly more demanding challenge, this via ferrata traverses a magnificent rocky landscape, leading to one of the highest peaks in the area.

Climbing and Historical Trails of the Cinque Torri: The “Five Towers” are famous for their unique rock formations and numerous climbing routes of varying difficulty. In addition to climbing, the area offers historic trails, with trenches dating back to World War One, offering a perfect blend of adventure and history. The Cinque Torri, Fanis, Sass de Stria, Falzarego and Lagazuoi zones are just a few kilometres away.
And if you take a thirty minute drive by car, you have the Cadini, Marmole and Tre Cime di Lavaredo waiting for you.

So gather up your climbing pins, carabiner, harness, helmet and get out there! Choose the peak that’s waiting for you!
Appropriate equipment and, preferably, an expert guide, are advisable on the via ferrata.
